In the course of our customer survey, which is conducted in electronic format or by telephone or by arrangement, it is essential that we process your personal data. “Personal data” means any information relating to natural persons either directly or indirectly.
The protection of our customers’ personal data is very important to voestalpine High Performance Metals LLC and its affiliates, including voestalpine eifeler Coatings LLC (collectively, vHPM LLC) and acting through the Survey Administrator (as defined in Section 2, below). ,. As part of the customer survey, vHPM LLC processes personal data, including but not limited to:
– to evaluate customer satisfaction;
– to identify the customer’s reasons for doing business with vHPM LLC;
– for the continuous improvement of the offer as well as for the adaptation of the offer to the customer;
– and to evaluate the company’s strengths and weaknesses from the customer’s point of view.
For the aforementioned purposes, vHPM LLC may process the following categories of personal data:
– professional contact information (name, professional contact address, professional telephone number or email address);
– concrete feedback on the customer survey (rating submissions on customer satisfaction, comments in free text fields, etc.);
The processing of personal data is necessary to achieve the above purposes.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (1) (a) (consent – also implied if necessary) or Article 6 (1) (f) (legitimate interest) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legitimate interest of vHPM LLC is to improve the customer relationship (including higher quality, customized offers, etc.) and customer satisfaction.
2. Transmission and sharing of personal data
The transfer and disclosure of your personal data to an order processor In the present case, Innovative Management Partner Unternehmensberatungs-GmbH (“Survey Administrator”). is commissioned with the processing of personal data. Survey Administrator will carry out and evaluate the customer survey and is contractually obligated to comply with data protection regulations.
3. Storage periods
If no explicit storage period is specified at the time of collection (e.g. as part of a declaration of consent), your personal data will be deleted insofar as it is no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which it was stored and no legal storage obligations (e.g. storage obligations under commercial and tax law) or the assertion of legal claims prevent deletion. In the present case, the storage period is 6 months.
